Heartland Humane Society Launches 2026 Cash Raffle to Support Animal Care

Yankton, SD — Heartland Humane Society (HHS) is inviting the community to try their luck while making a lifesaving impact through its 2026 Cash Raffle fundraiser.

Now through next month, supporters can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win cash prizes ranging from smaller winnings all the way up to a $1,000 grand prize. In total, 30 cash prizes will be awarded, giving participants multiple chances to win while directly supporting animals in need.

Proceeds from the raffle will go toward the daily care of animals at HHS, including medical treatment, vaccinations, food, and shelter for pets awaiting adoption. With rising costs and a growing number of animals served, fundraisers like this raffle play a critical role in sustaining operations.

“Every ticket purchased helps us continue to say yes to animals who need us,” said Kerry Feilmeier, Executive Director of Heartland Humane Society. “It’s a fun and easy way for the community to get involved and make a real difference.”

Tickets are available now through HHS staff, volunteers, and online at:

Winners will be drawn next month, and participants do not need to be present to win.
