If you build it, they will play! Join us for a special two-day fort-building and fort-play event.

Saturday, March 21st tweens and teens in grades 4-12 are invited to join us anytime from 9 am to 5 pm to construct and hang out in cardboard forts in the meeting room using out kid-friendly Makedo tools. These tools are designed with our youth in mind and make working with cardboard safe and easy!

On Sunday, March 22nd  from 1 pm to 5 pm and on Monday, March 23rd from 9 am to 3 pm, kids in grade K-3 are invited to play in and decorate the forts. Markers and other supplies will be available for kids to decorate and embellish the creations! Younger children are invited to play and explore the forts during this time.

Teens, do you need volunteer hours? Contact Cassi at cpietz@cityofyankton.org to make arrangements to help on fort demolition day, Monday, March 23rd from 3 pm to 5 pm.
