 Tween & Teen Activity

The Yankton Community Library invites tweens and teens in grades 4-12 to join Yankton Community Library staff at the Yankton Boys and Girls Club (2008 Mulberry St) each month at 3:45 pm for a special activity. These events will be free to all Boys and Girls Club members or youth who have paid the daily fee to attend the club.

Our tween & teen craft event this month will take place on Monday, February 9^th at 3:45 pm. We will be making homemade lip balm. Tweens and teens will have the opportunity to make a few tubes of lip balm in flavors of their choice. They can name and decorate the tubes afterward.

As always, teens in grades 6-12 are encouraged to sign up for the library’s teen subscription bags where library staff will select books to suit their interests and include fun snacks and surprises! Teen subscription bags are a great way for teens to discover new books and get involved at the library. There are currently spots available so sign up today at tinyurl.com/yclteenbag.
